Brannan Riffel

Senior Director, Commercial Real Estate at First National Bank of Omaha

Brannan Riffel has extensive work experience in the commercial real estate industry. Brannan started their career at Bank of America in 2001, where they served as Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Banking Division. In this role, they managed an investment-grade commercial real estate loan portfolio for large home builders in the Midwest. Their responsibilities included client management, loan structuring, credit risk management, credit underwriting, and identifying cross-sale opportunities.

In 2009, Brannan joined First National Bank of Omaha as a Director in the Commercial Real Estate department. Brannan initially held the position of Director, where they managed an investment-grade commercial real estate loan portfolio and was involved in client management, portfolio management, and credit risk management. In 2016, they were promoted to Lead Director and had additional responsibilities such as team leadership, client management, portfolio management, and credit risk management for the Commercial Real Estate Team in Kansas City. Finally, in 2018, Brannan's role evolved to become Senior Director, Commercial Real Estate. In this role, they focused on managing an investment-grade commercial real estate loan portfolio, providing strategic guidance to clients, pursuing new business opportunities with professional commercial real estate developer clients, and expanding the company's presence in the Midwest.

Brannan Riffel attended Kansas State University from 1997 to 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General.
