Matt Spyers

Matt Spyers has a diverse work experience in various roles related to information technology. Matt currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at the First National Bank of Omaha since January 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President Information Technology at TreeHouse Foods from February 2016 to January 2017. Matt also held the same role at Conagra Brands from July 2013 to February 2016. Before that, they served as the CIO of Ralcorp Holding Inc from June 2009 to July 2013. Matt has also worked at Sara Lee and its subsidiary companies, where they held different roles in IT management. Matt was the VP, North America IT from May 2008 to June 2009, and the VP, Enterprise Systems Transformation from July 2005 to April 2008. Matt began their career at Sara Lee Baking Co in October 2003 as the Director, Customer Delivery Systems. Matt also worked at Earthgrains Company as the Director, Application Development from December 2002 to October 2003. Prior to that, they held various positions at The Earthgrains Company, starting as the Manager, IT from March 1997 to October 2001 and later serving as the Director / Assistant to COO from October 2001 to December 2002. Additionally, Matt had a brief role in architecture at Mastercard in 1996. Overall, they have gained extensive experience and expertise in the field of information technology throughout their career.

Matt Spyers earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis from 1990 to 1994. Matt also completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Washington University in St. Louis from 1997 to 1999.
