Michael Salerno

Michael Salerno has a strong background in banking and finance. Michael started their career with FNBO in 2002 as a Senior Teller and progressed through various roles. As a Senior FX Trader, they were responsible for managing foreign exchange trading and customer relationships. Michael then moved on to become the Manager of Global Treasury, where they oversaw FX trading, international payments, and implemented new products. Michael then took on the role of Second Vice President in the Foreign Exchange Group, focusing on relationship management and identifying new business opportunities. Michael later became the Vice President of Global Banking, where they developed and executed sales strategies aligned with the company's overall strategy. Currently, they are the Managing Director of the Global Banking Group, accountable for the strategy and execution of the group's goals. In addition to their work with FNBO, Michael has also served on the NDEC Steering Committee since 2016.

Michael Salerno completed an Executive MBA in International Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003.
