Shawn Murphy has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Shawn started their career in 2007 at Community Bank CBD, where they held the role of Assistant Vice President - Commercial Lending. In this role, they were responsible for managing and selling the bank's foreclosure and receivership properties, as well as training a team of Personal Bankers in loans and new accounts.

In 2015, Community Bank CBD was acquired by Town Bank, and Shawn continued working as an Assistant Vice President in the Business Banking division. Their responsibilities included managing a loan portfolio, generating business leads through sales calls and community events.

In 2017, Shawn joined Blackhawk Bank as an Assistant Vice President, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they served as a key member of the bank's team and contributed to its success.

Currently, Shawn Murphy is serving as the Vice President - Commercial Banking Officer at First National Bank and Trust, a position they assumed in November 2019.

Shawn Murphy attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they focused on Finance and Financial Management Services. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, Shawn completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Shawn obtained a CBA/BS degree with a specialization in Finance and Economics.
