Martyna Purchla is an experienced senior policy analyst currently working for the First Nations Health Authority since March 2019, with a prior role in the BC Ministry of Health from December 2015 to March 2019. In addition to policy analysis, Martyna has been involved in education content development at Sunrise Family Services Society since September 2014, where an interactive Adoption Education Program was created to meet training requirements for clients. Martyna is also a co-founder of Better Alternatives for Girls' Survival Inc., which distributes handmade textiles and has held roles focused on education compliance and policy at Providence Care. Martyna's early career includes research positions at Simon Fraser University and Surrey Memorial Hospital. Academically, Martyna holds a Master of Public Administration from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University.
