Sony Subedi is experienced in public health response, mental health, substance use, and harm reduction. They have held roles as a Senior Advisor at the First Nations Health Authority, an Epidemiologist at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, and a Graduate Researcher at Queen's University. Sony has also worked in policy and communications at the International Development Research Centre and as a Nutrition Educator at the University of Ottawa. They hold a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa.
