Zachary King

Zachary King's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies. Zachary started in 2014 as a Web Developer in a freelance capacity. In 2015, they worked as a Computer Technician and Data Entry specialist at UALR Office of Admissions, where they analyzed and corrected data stored in databases using Java applications. At the same university, they also served as an EIT Ambassador from 2015 to 2018, mentoring students and organizing events. In 2016, they undertook a Cyber Security Research role as part of an NSF project. From 2017 to 2018, Zachary worked as a DevOps Engineer Intern at First Orion. Zachary then advanced to the position of Software Engineer, Data in 2018 and later became a Software Engineering Team Lead in 2020. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Data Architect before becoming the Associate Director of Data Architecture in February 2022 at First Orion.

Zachary King obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, attending from 2014 to 2018. Zachary has also received various certifications, including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003), CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner, AWS Learning: Object Storage, and Duolingo French Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated).
