Tracey Evans

Tracey Evans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Aboriginal governance and community development. Currently serving as the Yurpa Cultural Governance Co-Convenor at the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria since November 2019, Tracey was elected as the representative for the No. 1 Melbourne Metro Region. Previously, Tracey held significant roles such as Executive Director and Chair of the Elders Voice at CPB Contractors, and Aboriginal Workforce Senior Advisor at Ravenhall Correctional Centre. Other notable positions include Manager of Aboriginal Programs at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health, and Senior roles at the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency and the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Tracey's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice from CEAV Institute, along with advanced diplomas and diplomas in Community Development and Leadership from Swinburne University of Technology.
