Joe Martinet has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with extensive experience in device development and management. Joe started their career at Sprint Nextel as an RF Operations Manager before moving on to become a Senior Manager in Product Development. At TerreStar Networks, they served as the Director of Handset Development and later as the Senior Manager of RF Engineering. During their time at LightSquared, Joe held the position of Technical Director for Equipment Development. Joe then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Manager in HW R&D, leading a team in the development of storage products. Most recently, Joe worked at the First Responder Network Authority, first as the Principal Device Engineer Consultant and then as the Director of Devices, Senior Director of Public Safety Solutions Engineering, and Senior Director of Network Business Services. Overall, Joe Martinet has a wealth of experience in device architecture, technology planning, and project management.
Joe Martinet earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University from 1993 to 1998. Joe also holds additional certifications as an Eagle Scout and has obtained a Secret Clearance.
