Coco Douma

Vice President at First Security Bank Montana

Coco Douma has extensive experience in the banking industry, starting in 1993 as a Loan Documentation Specialist at First Security Bank Montana. They worked their way up, becoming a Loan Officer in 2003, then an Assistant Vice President/Lender in 2008, and eventually Vice President in 2015. Their responsibilities included credit analysis, underwriting, evaluating loan requests, and managing credit relationships with consumers and business owners.

In addition to their banking career, Coco also served as a Board Member for the Downtown Bozeman Partnership from 2007 and as a Board Member for the Downtown Bozeman Association from 2003. They were involved in promoting downtown Bozeman as a center of business, culture, and entertainment and organizing activities and events to strengthen the local economy.

Coco also served on the advisory board for Opera Bozeman from 2006 to 2013, where they developed an opera study guide integrated into the curriculum of local schools and organized opera workshops for students with guest artists and designers.

Coco Douma has a well-rounded education history. Coco completed their Master's Degree in Bank Management from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington between 2013 and 2015. In 2008, Coco attended Montana's Bankers Association to study Commercial Lending. Coco attended the American Institute of Banking from 1996 to 1999, where they specialized in Consumer Lending. During this time, Coco studied banking law principles, accounting, finance, and banking compliance. Lastly, between 1989 and 1991, they pursued a field of study in Music/Vocal Performance at Montana State University-Bozeman.
