Elizabeth Jones

Elizabeth Jones has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Vice-President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Education and Student Experience at the University of Exeter since September 2025. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held multiple positions at the University of Leicester from September 2004 to September 2025, including Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education, Dean of Education, and Academic Director/Associate Professor of French Studies. Elizabeth obtained a PhD in French Studies and a BA Joint Honours (1) in French and Geography from the University of Birmingham, completing studies between 1994 and 2003.
