Ty Robbins

Ty Robbins is the Chief Data Officer (CDO) at First Service Credit Union. He found a career of service in the credit union movement in 2014 after a 20+ career in technology across multiple industries. Previously, Mr. Robbins served as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and numerous officer positions in the fire service. He holds multiple degrees in Engineering and Architecture from Texas Tech University and built his career by solving complex, highly technical problems while communicating solutions in plain language. He prides himself on making complexity and technology approachable.

As a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), Mr. Robbins is passionate about the human service focus of the credit union industry and the potential of First Service’s purpose with its members. Within the industry, he has contributed to research projects at Filene and is an Architecture Committee member of the Credit Union Financial Exchange (CUFX), an evolving data standard that facilitates the vision of simply shareable data within the industry.
