Anja Lange

Anja Lange has extensive work experience in the legal industry. Anja started their career in 2000 as a Senior Counsel at DEG and then moved on to IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG in 2001, where they served as an Assistant General Counsel until 2008. In the same year, they joined First Solar as the General Counsel for Europe and held various senior roles within the company, including VP Deputy General Counsel EMEA + APAC and SVP Deputy General Counsel EMEA, India, APAC. Currently, Anja Lange is the SVP Head of Europe, Deputy General Counsel EMEA, India APAC, and Chief Compliance Officer at First Solar.

Anja Lange attended Universität Trier from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Rechtswissenschaften. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, they studied at Westdeutsche Landesbank in Duesseldorf, Germany, and obtained a degree in Bankkauffrau. In 1993, Anja Lange received a scholarship (Erasmus) to study Civil law and EU law at Universidad de Córdoba for a year. In addition to their educational background, they were also recognized as one of the World 50 Next Women by World 50, Inc. in 2019.
