Bo-Kuai Lai

Bo-Kuai Lai is an experienced manager and materials scientist with a diverse background in process development and integration within the solar energy sector at First Solar since May 2022. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Lake Shore Cryotronics as a Senior Materials Scientist and Project Leader, where leadership of multifunctional teams and management of complex projects were key responsibilities. As a Principal Investigator at Argonne National Laboratory, Bo-Kuai managed an NSF-funded project, fostering strategic partnerships and leading innovative research in nanomaterials. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an Executive MBA from Ohio University, complemented by active roles in professional societies and early research contributions.
