Chai Ling Lim

Chai Ling Lim has a strong background in engineering and manufacturing. Chai Ling started their career as an Equipment Engineer at Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., where they were responsible for managing the Equipment Management System (EMS) and ensuring the accuracy of inventory and maintenance of critical parts. Chai Ling then joined First Solar, where they held various roles including Senior Laser Process Manufacturing Engineer, Staff Yield Engineer, and Principal Engineer. In these roles, Chai Ling was involved in developing and implementing global manufacturing engineering operating systems, setting up new yield departments, and managing laser machines and processes. Throughout their career, Chai Ling demonstrated integrity and strong technical skills in their dealings with teams in different locations.

Chai Ling Lim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 2000 to 2005. In 2021, they also obtained a certification in SAS Visual Analytics 1 for SAS Viya: Basics from SAS.
