Jose Alonzo Calderon

Jose Alonzo Calderon has a diverse work experience in the field of quality and reliability development, specifically in the solar energy industry. Jose started their career as an Engineer in Reliability Physics at First Solar in August 2011 and later worked as a Manager in Reliability Physics from August 2013 to April 2016. From April 2016 to March 2019, Jose served as a Senior Manager in Technology Readiness. In March 2019, they became the Director of Device and then moved on to become the Director of Quality and Reliability Development in September 2020. Before joining First Solar, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from August 2008 to August 2011.

Jose Alonzo Calderon earned their PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
