Richard Romero

Richard Romero has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Richard started their career at Shell Oil Company and held various finance and accounting roles there from 1991 to 1997. Richard then worked as a Finance Manager at Transredes S.A. from 1998 to 1999. Following that, they served as the CFO of Gas TransBoliviano S.A. from 2000 to 2002. Richard then joined Royal Dutch Shell plc, where they worked in various senior finance positions from 2002 to 2008. Richard then moved on to AEI Svcs LLC and held the roles of Senior Director, Finance from 2008 to 2011 and Vice President, Finance from 2011 to 2012. Richard briefly worked as a Principal at Zaff Capital LP from 2012 to 2013. Richard's most recent positions include Vice President, Project Finance at First Solar from 2014 to 2016, and currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Treasurer and Head of Global Project Finance at First Solar since November 2016.

Richard Romero obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General from New Mexico State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Richard later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Houston from 1995 to 1996. Additionally, they have a certification in Series 65 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
