Chris Hood

Chris Hood has extensive experience in business development and sales, currently serving as Loan and Business Development at First Southern National Bank since February 2020. Prior to this role, Chris worked as Sales Director at BHF Express, LLC, where responsibilities included enhancing logistics strategies and client relations. Chris also held the position of Integrated Media Manager at Journal Communications Inc., collaborating with Chambers of Commerce to develop multi-media marketing tools aimed at attracting new businesses. Previous experience includes working as a Production Control Analyst at Unipres USA, Inc., where Chris ensured timely delivery of painted parts to major automotive manufacturers, and as an intern at Van Meter Insurance / Houchens, gaining insight into insurance operations. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from Western Kentucky University.
