Thornton Christensen

Thornton Christensen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and legal management. Currently serving as Head of Legal - Corporate at Aware Super since July 2021, Christensen previously held the position of Senior Legal Manager and Senior Legal Counsel at First State Super from September 2015 to July 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Company Secretary Subsidiaries at Commonwealth Bank, and various legal positions at Perpetual Limited, along with being a paralegal at DLA Phillips Fox. Christensen holds a combined degree in Law and International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney, along with a Graduate Certificate of Philosophical Studies from Griffith University, and studied abroad at the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
