Jay Franklin

Jay Franklin has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jay currently holds the position of Senior Vice President in Enterprise Data and Analytics at First Tech Federal Credit Union since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President in the same department from February 2018 to August 2022.

Before joining First Tech, Jay worked at VMware from 2011 to 2018. Jay'sroles at VMware included Senior Director of Global Master Data Management and Information Governance from February 2015 to February 2018, and Director of Global Master Data Management and Information Governance from January 2014 to January 2015. Jay was also the Director of Business Intelligence in Worldwide Customer Operations from October 2011 to December 2013.

From 2003 to 2011, Jay worked at Kaiser Permanente. Jay held various positions during their tenure, including Director of Governance, Infrastructure Program from May 2010 to October 2011, Director of National Revenue Cycle from January 2007 to May 2010, and Portfolio/Principal Program Manager in Revenue Cycle from September 2003 to December 2006.

Earlier in their career, Jay served as the Vice President of Consulting Services at Trinus Corporation for a brief period from January 2003 to September 2003. Prior to that, they worked at Nexgenix as an Engagement Director and Managing Consultant from 1999 to 2003.

Jay's career started in 1994 at Development Dimensions International, where they held marketing roles with increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as the National Marketing Director and Western Region Marketing Director until 1999.

Jay'searliest work experience can be traced back to Quadient (formerly Neopost), where they held multiple roles including Product Manager, Training Manager, Sales Manager, and Sales Representative from 1986 to 1994. Overall, Jay Franklin has had extensive experience in leadership, data management, and program management across various industries.

Jay Franklin obtained a BA in Business from the University of Utah in 1986. Jay later pursued an MBA in Business Finance at Saint Mary's College of California from 1996 to 1998. In 2001 and 2002, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, Jay Franklin has acquired additional certifications, including "Business Analytics Decision Making with Data" from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management (obtained year unknown) and "FinTech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies" from The Wharton School (obtained year unknown).
