Shelby Nemecek

Shelby Nemecek is an experienced professional in commercial real estate lending, currently serving as the Director of CRE Originations at First Tech Federal Credit Union since October 2018, where over $100MM in annual CRE originations have been achieved for five consecutive years. Previous roles include Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager for Columbia Bank, managing a $70MM portfolio, and Vice President at Pacific Continental Bank prior to its acquisition by Columbia Bank. Nemecek also held progressively responsible positions at The Standard from 1998 to 2013, culminating as Director of Operations overseeing a substantial $8 billion commercial real estate mortgage loan portfolio. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Linfield University.
