Tom Secrest

Tom Secrest is the SVP of HR and Labor Relations at First Transit. Tom has over 25 years of experience in the field, having worked their way up from Associate Attorney at Freund Freeze & Arnold to their current position. Tom has a wealth of experience in labor relations, human resources, and civil defense litigation. Tom has served as a chief negotiator in collective bargaining, provided advice and guidance to operations management and HR departments on all human resource issues, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, and represented their company at grievance arbitration hearings.

Tom Secrest attended Coshocton High School before going to Cornell University ILR School for their B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations. Tom then attended University of Dayton School of Law for their J.D.

They are on a team with Tim McCann - SVP, East Region, Mike Petrucci - SVP, General Counsel, and Nick Promponas - SVP, Transit Management. Tom Secrest reports to Brad Thomas, President.
