Greg Schmidt

Greg Schmidt is an experienced professional in the financial services industry, currently serving as an Internal Wholesaler in 401(k) Sales at First Trust Portfolios L.P. since December 2007. In this role, Greg specializes in selling First Trust's Collective Funds for Pension and 401(k) plans while facilitating the use of ETFs in Qualified Plans, collaborating with Financial Advisors nationwide. Prior to this position, Greg was the President of Acclaim Motivation Group from September 1984 to December 2007, overseeing operations for a small Manufacturer's Representative company in the Premium/Incentive field, starting as a representative shortly after the company's inception. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 1978 and 1982.
