Meghan Claussen has a diverse work experience in marketing, communications, and content strategy. Meghan is currently the Director of Communications at the First United Methodist Church San Diego. Prior to this, they worked at Axos Bank, starting as a Content Writer and eventually becoming the AVP, Digital Content Strategy. At Axos Bank, they were responsible for developing content strategies for various product lines, writing content for different channels, and mentoring in-house content writers. Meghan also worked as a Senior Marketing Specialist at Broadridge and served as the Marketing and Sales Director at Financial Center Credit Union. Meghan has experience as a freelance copywriter and marketer, and they have also worked in marketing and communications roles at ING Advisors Network, TrueCredit, Central Coast PRspectives, and Remilon.
Meghan Claussen earned a Bachelor's of Science degree with a concentration in Journalism and Public Relations from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, between 2001 and 2005. Meghan also obtained a certification as a Certified ANA Marketing Professional from the Association of National Advertisers in December 2019.
