Shaun Cates

Shaun Cates is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Finance Manager at First United Methodist Church San Diego since August 2019, Shaun has previously held prominent positions such as Director of Finance at Landmark Vacation Rentals and Landmark Sotheby's International Realty from March 2021 to October 2022 and January 2018 to October 2022, respectively. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Vistana Signature Experiences and as Supervisor of Financial Reporting at Genera Solutions. Shaun began the career as an Audit Associate at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. Academically, Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Apparel Management from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University.
