Angie Williams, CRCM, CAMS, has extensive experience in the compliance field. Angie started their career as a Compliance Analyst at Ally Financial Inc. (formerly GMAC Bank) in 2004, where they assisted with the administration of the bank's compliance and CRA program. Angie also conducted compliance reviews and prepared reports during their time there. In 2007, Angie joined WEX Bank as the Vice President and Director of Compliance. In this role, they oversaw compliance activities, provided advisement to management and the board of directors, conducted compliance reviews and testing, and coordinated examinations and audits. After more than 12 years at WEX Bank, Angie joined First Utah Bank in 2020 as the Vice President and Compliance Officer. Angie is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, providing advisement to various committees, overseeing the implementation of a robust CMS program, and participating in product development.
Angie Williams, CRCM, CAMS, has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Westminster University from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they hold the certifications of CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) from ACAMS, obtained in May 2014, and CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) from the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), obtained in October 2006.
