Renee Hood

Renee Hood, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Corporate Director of Human Resources at First Watch Restaurants since December 2019, Renee is responsible for enhancing the employee life-cycle, talent acquisition, culture enhancement, and strategic HR initiatives. Prior to this role, Renee was the Vice President of People & Culture at Aviva - A Campus for Senior Life, providing strategic direction and nurturing company culture. Other notable positions include Human Resources Director at Tidewell Hospice and Senior Human Resources Manager at Bright House Networks. Renee began her career at Winn-Dixie and has built a solid foundation in HR through education, including a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of South Florida and various HR certifications.
