Sara Charvet

Sara Charvet has over 25 years of experience in HR roles, starting as a Reward & Benefits Consultant/HR Consultant at First Direct in 1993. Sara then held HR Business Partner positions at HBOS, Lloyds Banking Group, and Kellogg Company. Sara'sexperience expanded to Vancity as an HR Business Partner and Project Manager. Sara continued to grow, becoming an HR Manager at TELUS before joining First West Credit Union, where they held various Director roles focusing on HR Business Partnering, Organizational Development, and Talent Management.

Sara Charvet completed their O Levels at Holmfirth High School in 1987. Sara then pursued their A Levels in Economics, French, and Sociology at Greenhead College in Huddersfield from 1987 to 1989. In 1996-1997, they earned their MA / CIPD in HR Management from the University of Huddersfield. Sara Charvet also obtained multiple certifications, including the SHRM-SCP in 2019 and the CPHR in 2017. Additionally, they completed various courses related to leadership and change management throughout their career.
