Kristie P. Paskvan, MBA, CPA has over 40 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. Kristie P. began their career in 1980 at Goldberg Geiser & Company as a Senior Manager. Kristie P. then moved to Urban Investment & Development/JMB Realty in 1987 as an Accounting Manager. In 1992, they joined Stein & Company as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller. From 1997 to 2020, they held various positions at Mesirow Financial, including Senior Advisor to the Chairman, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, President of the Retirement Planning and Advisory Business, and Member of the Board of Directors. In 2019, they became the President of BetaBlue, LLC, a financial and operational project consulting firm. That same year, they also became a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for First Women's Bank (in organization). In 2020, they joined SmithBucklin as a Board Member. In 2021, they became a Board Member of the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI). Kristie P. also currently serves as the Associate Director of the Office of Experiential Learning at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Kristie P. Paskvan obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Kristie P. then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant registered in the State of Illinois and holds a Series 27 License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
