Scott Tansil

Scott J. Tansil is a seasoned financial and operational executive with extensive experience in the mortgage industry and corporate finance. Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at FirstBank since January 2023, Scott previously held significant roles at Citizens from August 2018 to September 2022, including Head of Mortgage and EVP Correspondent Lending/Capital Markets. At Citizens, Scott was integral to the Executive Leadership Team and focused on mortgage strategy execution. Prior to that, Scott was CFO/COO at Franklin American Mortgage Company for nearly two decades, overseeing substantial financial operations and personnel responsibilities. Scott began their career in corporate tax at HCA Healthcare and gained foundational experience in audit and tax at Dempsey, Wilson & Company, P.C. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Belmont University.
