Umer Ali

Umer Ali's work experience begins in 2002 when they worked as an IT Manager at CMCK Solutions. Umer was responsible for IT administration, website development, and network management. In 2003, they became an IT Consultant at NUSRAT CONSULTING SARL for a year and a half. In 2004, they joined unctad as an Application Developer/Business Analyst, where they automated various business processes using .NET applications on web platforms. Umer then worked as a Project Manager at Thales Information Systems from 2007 to 2010. From 2009 to 2015, they held various roles at Cotecna, starting as a Project Manager, then moving on to become the Head of IT Operations and later Vice President of IT Operations. At Nexthink, they worked as a Product Manager from 2016 to 2020, where they helped create productive digital workplaces. Umer then took on the role of Head of Customer Success Global Operations, where they focused on making customer success teams more efficient from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Umer is the Chief Information Officer at Firstcaution SA since 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Professor at BMU (Business & Management University) from 2001 to 2011.
