Jorge Ponce

Jorge Ponce is currently the Director of Product and Vendor Management at FirstClose. Prior to this, they were the Home Equity Product Manager at Bethpage Federal Credit Union from August 2014 to May 2017. In this role, Jorge was responsible for the continued growth and success of the credit union's home equity product line. Jorge successfully increased the credit union's market share to 22% in 2016 and also improved service quality measures by more than 10%. Jorge also has a strong focus on efficiency and process improvement, and they introduced new processes that doubled production while maintaining the same workforce. Jorge is currently working on producing a better, friendlier, and almost document-free fulfillment process for members.

Jorge Ponce graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a degree in computer science and psychology.

Their manager is Tedd Smith, Co-founder and CEO. They work with Sara Nakae - Director of Marketing, Enterprise Sales, Tim Smith - Co-founder and CRO, and Patrick McClain - CFO and COO.
