Samuel Yuk Lai Suen

Sam Suen is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in engineering and product development. As Co-Founder and CEO of Owlery since March 2022 and a Limited Partner at Firsthand Ventures, Sam showcases a strong commitment to innovation in the tech industry. Previously at Uber Freight from 2018 to 2022, Sam served as Head of Engineering, overseeing key initiatives in Carrier Experience. Sam also played a pivotal role at Uber as the Founder and Engineering Manager for Driver Intelligence and has held various engineering leadership roles at companies including SugarCRM, Stitch App, Apple, and Microsoft. Sam holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and early education from Queen's College.
