Beth Gerritsen

SVP Strategy & Partnerships at FirstHx

Beth Gerritsen has a diverse work experience. Beth is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships at FirstHx. Prior to this, they were a Nurse Practitioner at Primary Care Medical Office from 2010 onwards. Beth also served as a Sessional Instructor Assistant at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management starting in 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Clinical & Strategy Advisor at eHealth Centre of Excellence from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they held the position of Associate Clinical Lead, Digital Strategy at Hamilton Family Health Team from 2020 to 2021, and was a Digital Secretariat Committee Member at Greater Hamilton Health Network from 2020 to 2021. Beth's earlier experiences include being a Registered Nurse at Joesph Brant Memorial Hospital from 2008 to 2010 and at McMaster Children's Hospital from 2006 to 2008.

Beth Gerritsen has a Bachelor's degree in Health Science Honors, majoring in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Western University. Beth then went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing degree at the same university. Beth also obtained a certification as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the College of Nurses of Ontario in 2010. Recently, they pursued an Executive Master's of Health Informatics degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in the Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation.
