Vanessa Cruz, MBA

Vanessa Cruz, MBA has a diverse work experience with various roles in different organizations. Vanessa started their career at H E B Grocery Co in 2005 as a Central Checkout Specialist, where they provided customer service, training, and supervision to other employees. In 2011, they joined Edgewood ISD as a Pre-K Aide, assisting students in academic content areas and maintaining student records. Vanessa then progressed to the role of Secretary at Edgewood ISD in 2013, where they supported the Parent Engagement Coordinator with secretarial duties and demonstrated strong communication and customer service skills. In 2015, Vanessa joined Firstmark Credit Union as a Traveling Supervisor, responsible for loan processing, member service support, sales, and referral goals. Currently, they hold the role of Digital Services Analyst at Firstmark Credit Union, where they are involved in digital services and provides support to members.

Vanessa Cruz, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Vanessa attended the institute from 2016 to 2019. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from St. Mary's University. Vanessa completed their undergraduate studies from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Vanessa Cruz also holds the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance. Vanessa obtained this certification in April 2023.
