Martin Nisenholtz is a prominent figure in digital communication and media with extensive experience in academia and the digital sector. Currently serving as a Professor of the Practice of Digital Communication at Boston University since January 2015 and a Venture Partner at FirstMark Capital since January 2014, Nisenholtz has also held teaching positions at Columbia University and Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Nisenholtz previously contributed significantly to The New York Times Company from 1995 to 2012, where roles included Senior Vice President of Digital Operations and CEO of New York Times Digital, overseeing the growth of digital revenues. Earlier in the career, Nisenholtz founded the Interactive Marketing Group at Ogilvy & Mather, played a key role at Ameritech Corporation as Director of Content Strategy, and was part of the founding faculty at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Nisenholtz holds a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Psychology and Sociology.
