Principal Verification Engineer at FirstPass Engineering

Troy Meester has over 30 years of experience in the field of engineering. Troy began their career at MINC Inc. in 1988 as a Staff Engineer in Design, where they worked until 1996. In 1990, they joined Sand Circuits Inc. as a Principal Verification Engineer in ASIC Design, a role they held for several years. From 1997 to 2001, they worked at Celis Semiconductor as a Principal Engineer in ASIC Design. In 2001, they joined Comsilica, Inc. as a Principal Engineer in ASIC Design, where they configured ARC core soft IP processor and developed verification methodology for wireless chips. From 2004 to 2008, they served as a Staff Engineer and CAD Manager at Simtek Corporation. In 2008, they worked as a CAD Manager at Cypress Semiconductor before transitioning to LSI Corporation as a Verification Engineer from 2009 to 2010. Troy then joined Aeroflex in 2011 as an ASIC Design Lead, where they set methodology and design/tool flow. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at PMC-Sierra as a Staff Verification Engineer. Most recently, they have been employed at FirstPass Engineering as a Principal Verification Engineer since 2014. Throughout their career, Troy Meester has gained experience in a variety of engineering roles, with a focus on verification and design.

Troy Meester completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University from 1980 to 1984. In 2009, they also attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, however, the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
