Vera Devera

Vera Devera serves as the Director of Program Operations at First Round Capital since June 2025. Previously, Vera worked as a Community Manager at Watershed, where notable achievements included building the organization’s first community and newsletter tailored for corporate sustainability professionals. In prior roles, Vera was Head of Community and Events at Vareto, leading the establishment of a community of financial planning leaders and managing event programming. With extensive experience at Ironclad, Vera drove event strategy, production, and community growth, significantly expanding membership and enhancing brand engagement. Additional professional experiences include roles in marketing and project management across various organizations, demonstrating a strong background in community management, digital marketing, and event production. Vera holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Golden Gate University.
