Kasey Chiu

Lead Instructor at FirstSteps for Kids

Kasey Chiu has a diverse background in working with children and individuals with disabilities, starting in 2017 as a Teaching Assistant Intern at Vista Del Mar. In 2018, they transitioned to roles as an Administrative Assistant at Dr. Lorie Humphrey's office and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCLA's Relationship and Health Lab. Their experience includes behavioral therapy at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC., and most recently, they have been working as a Lead Instructor at FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. Their roles have involved providing support, conducting research, and creating positive learning environments for their clients.

Kasey Chiu completed high school at Marina High School from 2012 to 2016. Kasey then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UCLA from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Southern California from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they received certifications as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in 2021 and in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association in 2019.
