Jill Baxter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in outdoor education and training. As the Founder and Director of Active Challenge since 2006, Jill has been dedicated to empowering young women by promoting the connection between physical health and personal achievement. In addition, Jill serves as the Training Coordinator for Canadian Wilderness Medical Training, providing essential remote first aid training. Jill has also been a Lead Instructor for Outdoor Adventure Programs at Algonquin College since 2000 and has operated the Bear Creek Outdoor Centre since 1999, offering custom outdoor education and adventure therapy programs. As an Instructor Trainer for Paddle Canada, Jill shares a passion for paddling through programs at Bear Creek. Jill holds degrees in Outdoor Education from Lakehead University and pursued further education at Utah State University.
