James Pennington

James Pennington is currently the Chief Medical Officer at First Wave BioPharma. Prior to this, they worked as an implementation consultant for PTC and as a growth coach for GrowthAccelerator.

James Pennington has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. James began their career as an implementation consultant for PTC, providing training and support for CAD, PDM, and visualization applications across Europe. James then transitioned into coaching with GrowthAccelerator, where they helped businesses develop digital marketing and content strategy. In their current role as Chief Medical Officer, James is responsible for leading the clinical development of First Wave BioPharma’s products and overseeing all medical aspects of the company.

James Pennington has a BSc HONS in Biological Science from the University of Wolverhampton. James also has A Levels in Biology, Physics, Chemistry & Electronics from King Edward VI College. In addition, they have certification from Jellyfish Training in Google ADs (Search) - Standard and Advanced, Google Analytics - Advanced, Python for Data Science, and SEO Standard.
