Matt Brieger

Matt Brieger has over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Matt began their career in 2010 as a Chemist 1 and Chemist 2 at SAFC, where they were responsible for the production of highly potent APIs. Matt quickly became a leader in the manufacturing group, training operators and mentoring them in safe and efficient work practices. In 2014, they joined MilliporeSigma as a Project Manager and Manufacturing Supervisor, responsible for managing a team of 40 chemists with 11 direct reports. In 2017, they joined Regis Technologies as a Project Manager, and in 2018 they were promoted to Project Management Supervisor, a leadership position responsible for the execution of unique contract manufacturing projects for clients. Most recently, in 2021, they joined First Wave BioPharma, Inc. as a Product Development Manager and Project Manager.

Matt Brieger received their Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. Matt then went on to complete their Master's Degree in the Master of Science in Biotechnology Program at the same university in 2016.
