Brian T. Shea

Brian T. Shea is the current Director at FIS. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at BNY Mellon from January 2013 to December 2017. In this role, Brian was responsible for the global asset servicing, alternative investment services, broker-dealer services, Pershing LLC clearing services, corporate trust, depositary receipts and treasury services businesses. Brian also oversaw the enterprise Client Service Delivery (operations) globally and the Client Technology Solutions. Under their leadership, the company saw improved fee-revenue growth by 750% as well as consistent positive operating leverage, industry-leading operating margins and double-digit earnings growth.

From April 2018 to March 2019, Brian served as a member of the Board of Directors at WisdomTree Asset Management. Prior to their time at BNY Mellon, Brian was with RBB Funds, Inc.

Brian T. Shea has an honorary doctorate in commercial science from St. John's University, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in finance from Pace University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in business management from St. John's University. Brian also has a certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in General Securities Principal (Series 24) and General Securities Representative (Series 7).
