Chris Russell

Chris Russell serves as the Vice President of Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy at FIS since July 2015, where responsibilities include establishing objectives, plans, and budgets while contributing to financial outcomes. Prior to this role, Chris built and led a new PaaS Engineering team, successfully transforming engineering practices through Agile methodologies, and led a high-profile Digital Banking transformation initiative migrating critical applications to FIS's private cloud. Previous experience includes serving as Data Center Practice Manager at RKON Technologies, where project oversight and datacenter offerings were key responsibilities, and roles at Fidelity National Information Services focused on VMware technologies and datacenter migrations. Chris's career began at BMO Harris Bank and Purdue University Calumet with a strong foundation in server engineering and network maintenance, complemented by a BASc degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Purdue University Northwest.
