Alejandro Sanz Carbonell is a Bioinformatician with experience in genomic surveillance related to COVID-19. With a background in DNA repair defects and biomarker research in metastatic prostate cancer, Alejandro has worked in various research institutions such as Fundació Fisabio, CNIO, I²SysBio UV-CSIC, and IBMCP (UPV - CSIC). Holding a Doctorate degree in Biotechnology, Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Universitat Politècnica de València, Alejandro also completed a Master's in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from the University of Valencia.
