Simon de la Court

Simon de la Court has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Simon began their career in 2001 as the Lead Communication for OpenFrag, an open-source initiative focused on creating a first-person shooter game. In this role, Simon managed public relations and developed and maintained the project's website until 2009.

In 2003, Simon founded CT.Studios, where they served as the Owner until present.

Simultaneously, in 2004, Simon started their eponymous venture, Simon de la Court Photography, which they continue to maintain without a designated role.

From 2008 to 2009, Simon worked as the Managing Partner for Yarbot.

In 2012, Simon founded Art Follows Function, where they served as the Founder until 2014.

From 2013 to 2014, Simon contributed to Acato as a Realisatie.

In 2014, Simon joined ABOSS as a Lead Dev until 2018.

In 2018, Simon transitioned to Fish on Fire - The mobile app development company as the Lead Software Developer until 2020, after which they were promoted to the Chief Technology Officer position, which they currently hold.

Simon de la Court has a diverse education history. Simon began their studies at Staring College from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained their VWO degree with a focus on Economie & Maatschappij. Simon then pursued higher education at the University of Twente from 2007 to 2008, studying Mass Communication/Media Studies. Following this, Simon attended the University of Amsterdam in 2008 and 2009, where they pursued a BA in Media and Culture. Simultaneously, from 2009 to 2013, they attended both the Hogeschool van Beeldende Kunsten, Muziek en Dans Den Haag and the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design degree in Photography.
