Julia Murphy

Julia Murphy's work experience begins with their most recent role as the Vice President of People & Capability at Fisher & Paykel Appliances starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of People & Capability for North America at the same company from January 2021 to March 2022. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the Director of Talent Management at Exemplis LLC. In 2016, they held the position of Director of Human Resources for Oakley Retail North America at Luxottica. Before that, they had various roles at Oakley from 2011 to 2016, including Manager of Talent Management & Acquisition, HR Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Julia also worked as a Senior Recruiter at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in 2010 and at MedCentric Search Firm LLC from 2007 to 2010. In addition, Julia has experience as a Pro Beach Volleyball Player for the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour from 2005 to 2010 and as the Director of Recruiting/Sales & Operations Manager at Velocity Sports Performance from 2005 to 2007. Julia started their career as a Premium Services Coordinator at the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003.

Julia Murphy attended Eastern University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biokinetics. In 2004, they briefly studied Health/Exercise Science at Bond University. Additionally, Julia has acquired several certifications, including Leadership Circle Profile Certification from Leadership Circle in October 2022, Executive Well-Being & Leadership for Women from Corporate Women Unleashed in February 2021, and Hogan Assessment and Coaching Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems in July 2019.
