Doug Lalone

Doug LaLone is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently working at FisherBroyles, LLP since May 2023. Previously, LaLone served as a partner at Fishman Stewart PLLC from 2007 to May 2023, where the development of the firm's Strategic IP Practice Group took place, advising clients on aligning IP strategies with corporate goals. Earlier experience includes being a partner at Warn, Hoffmann, Miller & LaLone, focusing on mechanical and electrical innovations, and at Harness, Dickey & Pierce, where activities involved conducting freedom to operate investigations and drafting patent applications. LaLone began a career as an engineer at Navistar Inc, designing components for heavy-duty trucks. Education includes a JD from Valparaiso University School of Law and a BSMET in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
