Mikhail G. has over twenty years of work experience in various roles. Mikhail began their career in 1999 as an Analyst in the Financial Department of NovosibEnergo, a regional power sales company. Mikhail then moved on to a Senior Analyst role in the Planning Department of a furniture production company in 2002. In 2003, they became the Head of the Analytical Department of the Regional Marketing Division of Wimm-Bill-Dann, a large FMCG company. In 2005, they were appointed as the Head of the Analytical Department of RMP Holding, the largest meat-processing holding in the Siberian market. In 2010, they worked as a self-employed private trader in stocks, options, and futures at the Moscow Exchange. In 2013, they became an Analyst at a web-sites developer company. In 2014, they were hired as a Senior Data Analyst at a Payday Loans Company and Credit (Union) cooperative. In 2016, they took on the role of Senior Data Scientist in the Credit Risks Department of BINBank, a top 10 Russian bank at the time. In 2018, they became a Data Scientist at Ferratum Group and developed new scoring models based on traditional machine learning for three countries, created a portfolio quality forecasting model with time-series neural net prediction (LSTM), and invented and developed a new approach for scoring based on deep learning. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Machine Learning full stack spec at Fishtail.

Mikhail G. holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics and Mathematics, Econometrics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU). Mikhail has also obtained several certifications, including the Natural Language Processing Specialization (4 courses) from deeplearning.ai in October 2020, the TensorFlow: Data and Deployment Specialization (4 courses) from deeplearning.ai in October 2020, the TensorFlow Developer Specialization (4 courses) from deeplearning.ai in September 2020, the Anomaly Detection in Time Series Data with Keras from Coursera in July 2020, and the Deep Learning Specialization (5 courses) from deeplearning.ai in April 2020.
