Garrett Okrasinski

Garrett Okrasinski has extensive experience in social responsibility and project management. Garrett currently works at FishWise as a Project Director, overseeing various initiatives. Prior to this, they held roles as a Social Responsibility Senior Project Manager and a Social Responsibility Project Manager at the same company. Before joining FishWise, Garrett worked at Nordstrom as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility team. Garrett also gained experience at Starbucks, where they served as a Fellow in Global Social Impact. Garrett's earlier roles include being a Graduate Student Research Consultant at Starbucks, a Research Consultant at the Canadian Consulate of Seattle, and a Founder/Developer at Mobile Market. Garrett also served as a Program and Alumni Coordinator at Kanthari, a Program Coordinator at The Consortium of Universities for Global Health, and an Intern at Global Health Sciences at the University of California San Francisco. Additionally, Garrett was selected as a Sarlo Scholar by the Foundation for Sustainable Development, where they worked as an intern with a local NGO in Uganda to support an income-generating project.

Garrett Okrasinski holds a Masters in Applied International Studies from the University of Washington, Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Garrett also obtained a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of San Francisco. In addition, Garrett completed an Intensive Language and Political Science Study Abroad program at the American Mideast Training and Services. Garrett attended the Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, but no specific degree or field of study were mentioned. Garrett also has a certification in International Negotiation and Crisis Management from The United States Army War College and the University of Washington.
